Barry Nehr was born and raised in Lancaster
Pennsylvania. For 20 years he was the Regional
Illustrator for the U.S. Forest Service in Atlanta.
Barry's paintings are available in numerous
galleries around the Southeast. Barry has painted
murals for several exhibit companies that can be
seen all across the United States, including Sea
World California, Warner Robbins Air Force Base
in Georgia, as well as many State and National
Parks.
Barry primarily works in oils. He describes his
painting style as impressionistic, with an emphasis
on color, light, and shadow. He is also skilled in
the use of pen and ink and felt markers, which he
uses to produce illustrations for many educational
exhibits.
